Take Action

Write Your State Representative

To be as effective as possible in moving the needle on these priority issues, we need your help. The South Carolina General Assembly, as we discussed, is currently considering two bills to address infrastructure funding. Your voice with your state representative as an employer and tax payer is very influential. Please consider taking a few minutes to send a letter to your state representative stressing the importance of increasing the motor fuel user’s fee by $.25 and indexing it to provide South Carolina’s business and citizens with a modern, safe and scalable 21st Century highway system. The time for action is now and as your elected representative you expect them to take it. Please use this form letter as a guide, and send this on your company’s letterhead to your state representative A list of our region’s state legislative delegation accompanies this e-mail and will help you identify the state representative for the district in which your business resides.
